Tiger Hill

At an elevation of 7,407 feet above the sea level, Tiger hills are one of the major tourist attractions in Darjeeling. It is most famous for its spectacular view of the sunrise from where you can see the peaks of Mt. Kanchenjunga. To see the mesmerizing view of the morning sunrise, visitors have to reach there before 3.30am.

Observatory Hill

Located close to Chawrasta Square in the heart of Darjeeling town, Observatory is primarily recognized as the Makal-Babu-Ko-Thaan and is one of the oldest sites in Darjeeling. The hill has a rich historical backdrop and is quite popular among tourists due to its Hindu and Buddhist temples.

Senchal Lake

Ghoom Monastery is also known as Yigacheoling Gompa and is one of the major tourist attractions in Darjeeling. This beautiful monastery is popular for its 15feet high special statue of the Maitreya Buddha.

Batasia Loop

Located at the top hill and at a distance of about 5km away from the heart of Darjeeling town, Batasia Loop is one of the most picturesque train routes in Darjeeling. It is a gigantic loop where toy train makes a 360 degree turn and from where you can get the panoramic view of the beautiful town along with Mt. Kanchenjunga. In addition, the loop is encircled with a wonderful garden which makes visitors spend some quality time.
