Lake Tsomgo

Located only 30km away from the capital city Gangtok, Tsomgo Lake is oval in shape and proximately 1km long. At an altitude of 12000 feet above sea level, this astounding lake is the highest point. It attracts a huge amount of tourists through its breathtaking sightseeing of snow-capped mountains all around.

Gurudongmar Lake

A sacred lake, Gurudongmar Lake is located in Lachen of the northern part of Sikkim. At an enthralling attitude of 17,800 feet above sea level, this lake is one of the highest fresh-water lakes in the world. The reflection of its surrounding on its clear water is just magical.

Rumtek Monastery

Located about a 23kms distance from Gangtok, Rumtek Monastery is one of the largest Gompa which is visual display cultural heritage and religion of Hinduism and Buddhism. The major attraction of this Gompa is Golden Stupa. The best time to visit the Rumtek monastery is between June and September.

Yumthang Valley of Flowers

Located at an elevation of 11,693ft from sea level, Yumthang Valley of flowers is also recognized as ‘Valley of Flowers’. It is a home to Shinghba Rhododendron Sanctuary with a river, hot springs, yaks, grazing pasture on Rolling Meadows surrounded by the Himalayan Mountains.

Kanchendzonga National Park

Nestled in the heart of the Himalayan range of North Sikkim, Kanchenjunga National Park is sprawled over an area of around 849.5 sq km and is loaded with extremely natural beauty. It is a home to glacier, lake, rhododendron forest and mammal species include wild dog, snow leopard, Himalayan black bear, red panda and 550 species of bird.
